JAPAN PREMIUM BEEF
Since 2009, Japan Premium Beef has been NYC’s specialty butcher for high quality Japanese beef: cross breeding wagyu and USDA black angus and practicing a strict feeding program to make some of the best tasting beef in the city, in addition to other cuts of high quality meat.
SEAFOOD COUNTER
Our seafood counter displays the freshest fish available on the market everyday to ensure that your fish, whether its used for sushi or cooked in a meal, is at its highest quality and taste. Explore our variety of seafood, from octopus legs to sashimi-grade fish.
HOMEMADE TOFU
Open Wednesday to Sunday, 12PM – 5PM
Our tofu is made on-site by tofu chefs who ensure that the tofu’s texture and taste is always rich and consistent. Whether its served cold or hot, sweet or savory, tofu is a versatile, delicious, and healthy ingredient.

PROJECT BENTO

Japan Village in partnership with JAANY (http://www.jaany.org/) and other NYC Japanese American Associations started the initiative to donate bentos to senior citizens and those living in need.  

Our generous friends, Itoen (https://itoen.com/) and Daiei Trading (https://daiei-trading.com/), have been contributing tea and rice crackers.

With the incredible support of the donations and amazing volunteers within the Japanese American community, we have been able to distribute bentos on a weekly basis in the triborough area. We are grateful for all of the support we have received and hope to continue this initiative.

We are currently self-funded and would appreciate any donation amount to keep this going.

Project Bento is launched by the Japanese American Association in partnership with NYC Japanese American organizations including - The Consulate General of Japan in New York, New York Day of Remembrance, Japanese American Citizens League NY Chapter, New York Japanese-American Lions Club, Japanese Americans/Japanese in America, Tsuru For Solidarity, the US-Japan Council NY Region and concerned individuals.
